Overview
Montessori Flags & Stand of Nth & Sth America (35 flags) is a core Montessori Geography material designed to give children a sensorial and cultural understanding of the world. A stand with flag sets that allows children to explore different countries’ flags, sizes, and cultural significance on their own.
This is an Authentic Genuine Montessori material, it is a teaching aid, not a “Montessori toy”.
The stand is designed to enable the child to independently choose a flag and place it in a flag stand so that it can be placed, free standing, upon the child’s work table or work mat easily while they explore the aspects of the particular nation they have taken an interest in.
Full sized National flags come in many sizes and these specially designed sets are accurately scaled to depict each country’s flag design and size. The children will appreciate and question the difference in flags and sizes and will therefor identify with each flag.
